About Herradura Silver Tequila
Silver is made at Casa Herradura in Amatitán, Jalisco, one of the oldest tequila‑producing distilleries still operating in Mexico.
The brand dates to the 1870s and has built its reputation on traditional production methods, including slow‑cooking agave in clay ovens and fermenting naturally with wild yeast.
Herradura Tequila Silver is a 100 percent agave Mexican tequila presented in a clean, unaged style.
Fresh agave leads the aroma, offering earthy sweetness and a hint of green pepper.
The palate is bright and lively, showing crisp citrus alongside natural vegetal notes.
There’s a subtle peppery spice that builds gently through the middle, adding structure without harshness.
Unaged and rested briefly before bottling, it keeps the agave character front and centre.
The texture is smooth yet vibrant, carrying flavour with clarity and energy.
A faint mineral note appears toward the finish, giving it extra definition.
The close is dry and warming, with agave and spice lingering neatly.
Well suited to margaritas or enjoyed neat where purity matters.
Clean, expressive and unmistakably true to its agave roots.

What makes this mezcal stand out is the way it’s built from the ground up. The Espadín agave is grown organically, then slow‑roasted in an underground pit to build flavour from the start.
Traditional crushing, fermenting and distilling keep the character honest, giving the final spirit a clear sense of place without feeling rustic or rough around the edges.
Lift the glass and the aroma sets the mood straight away. A gentle savoury smoke sits alongside fresh green agave, with a little citrus brightness and a soft herbal note.
For a mezcal that brings flavour, brightness and a confident sense of style, Montelobos Espadín offers a lively experience that stays enjoyable from the first sip to the finish.

The blend predominantly utilizes grapes from the prestigious Grande Champagne and Petite Champagne ‘crus’. XO stands for “Extra Old”.
This Extra Old cognac is built from eaux‑de‑vie that have spent at least ten years resting in oak, with many components aged well beyond that. Rémy Martin draws from Grande Champagne and Petite Champagne, regions known for producing spirits that mature slowly and develop plenty of depth over time.
The texture is a big part of the appeal. It is full without being heavy and warm without being harsh. That is why XO is often enjoyed neat.
About Cognac Classifications (VSOP, XO, etc.)
TVS, VSOP and XO are age categories that tell you how long the *youngest* eau‑de‑vie (the distilled spirit that becomes cognac) has been aged in oak. They’re legally defined and enforced by the BNIC, the body that governs Cognac production.
VS (Very Special)
Minimum age: 2 years
This is the youngest style. It’s usually bright, fresh and a bit punchy. Great for mixing or casual sipping.
VSOP (Very Superior Old Pale)
Minimum age: 4 years
A step up in smoothness. VSOP tends to be rounder, softer and more balanced, with a bit more oak influence. Works neat or in cocktails.
XO (Extra Old)
Minimum age: 10 years
Richer, deeper and more complex. Expect flavours like dried fruit, spice, chocolate or nuts. Usually enjoyed neat because of the extra maturity.
Napoléon: Sits between VSOP and XO, often around 6 years.
XXO: Minimum 14 years, a newer official category.
Hors d’Âge: Used for very old, prestige blends; not a strict legal category but generally older than XO.
