About Balter Cerveza

A crisp, Mexican‑style lager from Balter Brewing built for hot afternoons and casual Mexican food pairings.

Perfect light, low‑bitterness refreshment at 4.0% ABV that drinks like summer in a bottle.

Australian‑made, it’s presented as a pale, refreshing lager that’s ideal for warm weather, outdoor gatherings and menus that lean into bright, spicy flavours.

Balter Cerceza is brewed with a focus on pale malt character, restrained hopping and a clean fermentation profile to keep the palate crisp and the finish dry.

It’s IBU is low (around 15), which explains the beer’s easy drinkability and minimal bitterness.

Appearance: Light, bright pale gold with a clear body.

Aroma: Subtle corn‑like and bready malt notes with a faint grassy hop lift.

Palate: Clean, crisp entry; light grain and cracker malt, a small bitter start and a smooth, carbonated finish that leaves the mouth refreshed rather than coated.

Mexican Twist — Serving and Pairing

Serve very cold (4–6°C) in a tall, narrow glass or a chilled bottle to emphasise the crispness.

Pair with Mexican‑style dishes: fish tacos with lime and cabbage, carne asada, al pastor, ceviche, and spicy salsas.

The beer’s low bitterness and bright carbonation cut through heat and refresh the palate.

Also excellent with street‑food snacks, grilled corn and light ceviches.

Beerfarm Milk Stout 5.5 Percent 375mL Can

Beerfarm Milk Stout – 16 Cans 375mL – 5.5% ABV

Price: $68.95

About Beerfarm Milk Stout

A rich, velvety milk stout from Margaret River that delivers chocolate and coffee roast with a soft lactose sweetness. A crowd‑pleasing seasonal dark beer at about 5.5% ABV.

Beerfarm Milk Stout is brewed in Metricup, Margaret River, as a winter‑style milk stout built for texture and flavour rather than hop brightness. Expect a deep brown to black pour, a creamy mouthfeel.

They use a base of pale malt with roasted barley, chocolate malt and rolled barley, plus lactose (milk sugar) to create a velvety, slightly sweet mid‑palate while keeping bitterness moderate. Hopping is restrained so the malt profile leads.  IBUs are modest for the style.

Serve slightly cool (8–12°C) in a tulip style pint to concentrate aroma while preserving texture. Pair with: chocolate desserts, coffee‑based sweets, sticky toffee pudding, smoked or charred meats, and aged cheddar. The beer’s roast and soft sweetness mirror both sweet and savoury dishes.

About Coopers Original Pale Ale

Original PA is often hailed as the true benchmark of Australian pale ales, earning its reputation as “the” original since its launch. Its iconic, green-labelled bottle is instantly recognisable, a nod to decades of brew masters dedicated to perfecting a balanced, all-malt ale that speaks to both tradition and quality. Beware of pale imitations! Cooper’s Original Pale Ale remains the gold standard for lovers of a well-crafted, easy-drinking beer.

The story begins in 1862 when Thomas Cooper founded what would become Coopers Brewery in the Adelaide Hills. Today, six generations of the Cooper family carry on his legacy, blending time-honoured recipes with modern brewing science. In fact, the brewery still champions family involvement at every level, ensuring that each batch of Original Pale Ale carries forward the uncompromising standards set by their forebears. This continuity of family stewardship has cemented Coopers as one of Australia’s most beloved independent breweries.

What truly sets Original Pale Ale apart is its natural conditioning method. Unlike many mass-produced beers, this ale undergoes a secondary fermentation in the bottle, can or keg, resulting in a fine sediment at the bottom of each vessel. That sediment isn’t a flaw—it’s a hallmark of authenticity, giving the beer a characteristic cloudy appearance and contributing to its lively carbonation and mouthfeel. The traditional conditioning process ensures every sip retains the ale’s distinctive freshness and depth.

On the palate, Coopers Original Pale Ale offers a harmonious blend of fruity esters and floral hop notes, balanced by a firm yet smooth malt backbone. The bitterness is crisp rather than harsh, allowing the beer’s gentle sweetness and subtle citrus hints to shine through. This balance makes it remarkably versatile—from casual backyard get-togethers to more formal gatherings—without overpowering the flavours of your favourite dishes.

About Carlsberg Danish Pilsner Style Lager

Carlsberg is one of the world’s longest‑running lager brands, first brewed in Copenhagen in 1847 by J.C. Jacobsen. The brewery was named after his son, Carl, and quickly became known for its focus on consistency and brewing science. In fact, Carlsberg played a major role in developing modern lager yeast, thanks to its research laboratory established in the late 1800s. That work helped standardise brewing practices worldwide, and the yeast strain they isolated is still used by many breweries today.

The beer itself is a straightforward European‑style lager: light in body, crisp, and built around gentle malt flavour with mild bitterness. It’s designed to be clean and easy to drink, without strong or heavy elements. Carlsberg has kept the same general profile for generations, aiming for reliability rather than complexity. That’s a big part of why it remains popular — it’s predictable, steady and familiar.

Carlsberg is brewed under licence in several countries, including Australia, to maintain freshness and consistency. The recipe stays aligned with the original Danish style, focusing on clarity, balance and a smooth, uncomplicated taste.

About Canadian Club Soda & Lime

Canadian Club Soda & Lime is a whisky premix that leans into freshness over sweetness.

Light oak and soft vanilla from the Canadian whisky come through first, giving it gentle warmth without heaviness.

The soda keeps everything lifted and dry, letting the spirit stay clean on the palate.

A squeeze of lime adds a bright citrus note that sharpens the finish and cuts through the whisky’s sweetness.

The body is light and crisp, with steady carbonation that keeps it refreshing from start to finish.

There’s no syrupy cola character here, just a balanced mix that highlights the whisky’s smoother side.

Made with Canadian Club’s signature blended whisky, it’s designed to be easy drinking without losing identity.

It works well ice cold straight from the can, especially in warmer weather.

Clean, citrusy and neatly put together.
